License & Use
Source-available by design.
Commercialization requires a separate license.
The MySocialsInfo engine is meant to be readable, portable, and self-hostable. Individuals can use it. Organizations can use it for themselves, including one public-facing profile or site. What this page is clarifying is the boundary between allowed use and commercializing the software itself.
Allowed
- Personal use
- Self-hosting for yourself or your own organization
- Internal company or internal team use
- One public-facing profile or site for your own organization
- Reading the code, learning from it, and evaluating it
Requires a Separate License
- Reselling the software
- Offering it as a paid hosted service
- Bundling it into another commercial product
- Running a platform for franchisees, chapters, clients, or member organizations
- Commercial redistribution or commercialization of the software itself
Important: this page describes the current intended use policy and business direction for the project. The final published license text will be the governing document when the self-host package is formally released.
Nonprofit / NFP organizations: broader nonprofit licensing options are planned worldwide. If your organization needs more than the default single-site allowance, reach out.
